WARD RADIO IS JUST TAKING A BREAK!!!

Ward Radio is currently off air - but don't worry - we have NOT shut down!  Ward Radio is still continuing 'behind the scenes', and is currently using the time to refresh, revamp, and work towards a major re-launch later in 2010!

Ward Radio is the Hospital Radio Station that has until 2008 served the Ealing Hospital site at Uxbridge Road, Southall.  The station served two hospitals under two different hospital trusts - Ealing Hospital NHS Trust, and West London Mental Health Trust. 

Due to ongoing technical issues Ward Radio is not currently able to broadcast live directly to patients.  However both Ward Radio and Ealing Hospital Trust are working together towards the re-provision of a new service in Ealing Hospital, and we hope to be back on air later in 2010.  More details of this will be published soon when these are known.

While Ward Radio is not currently broadcasting, we are remaining as a charitable organisation while work is ongoing to re-provide the service and re-launch the station.  The Charities Commission have been notified of the current situation. 

Currently Ward Radio is only contactable by email on the address below. At this time we are not taking on any new volunteers, however if you have contacted is in the past, we will keep your enquiry on record and may be in touch in the future.

If you are a member of staff at Ealing Hospital or WLMHT, and have any thoughts or comments on Ward Radio past, present or future, its benefits to patients, and whether or how it could be re-established in the hospitals, please get in touch on the email address below.
